A very relaxing day today, so there is not too much to report. The most strenuous thing we did today was go for an hour long walk around the heads. We set off around 10:00am and followed an hour long walk track around the Venus Bay headlands. The first stop was the dolphin lookout, and completely on queue the dolphins rolled out. There were two pods of about 4 each that came through while we were stopped there. They put on a great show, leaping out of the water and riding the waves.

The scenery was spectacular, this part of the coast is so rugged and so beautiful. We took a million photos, and will share a heap with this blog. Scarlett had a great time following all the little animal tracks and managed to even track a little Painted Dragon in a bush. Shane even got a good photo of him.
I was very impressed at how well Scarlett walked today, this has been the longest one we have done with her yet. She was really buggered when we got to the end, she lay down on a rock and refused to go any further.
When we got back we decided to go to the caravan parks kiosk for fish and chips for lunch. The outlook was so lovely perched looking out over the bay, a nice luxury we’ve not indulged in very often so it was very much enjoyed.
The afternoon was spent catching up on ‘Farmer wants a wife’ over this internet, while Shane and Scarlett watched Star Wars. Scarlett did manage to get me to go for a walk down to the playground, and out onto the jetty again to search for ‘Fred’ the resident seal (he is very allusive, I am yet to meet him).
This afternoon the lovely guys next door gave us a big load of fish they caught fresh today, I am looking forward to cooking it tomorrow night. Shane has cooked a lovely spaghetti bolognaise for dinner tonight, so a great night off for me.
