A day of relaxation

Geoff playing with Scarlett and Lachlan |
We decided not to do much today, Scarlett has been getting a little tired lately and we all feel like we just need a break. We had a lovely brekkie, a big thanks to Lachlan who cooked us all eggs on toast. I didn’t even get out of my pyjamas until after 11am. After about 5 x cuppas’ we decided to do a quick pop down to the local supermarket and grab some rations for lunch and dinner tonight.

Home-made pizza! |
What a madhouse!!! The local shopping centre was so busy; I mustn’t be used to this many people because I felt quite overwhelmed. We decided to grab a quick bit at the food court, which turned into a 15min wait. Shane and the kids had already eaten and left me by the time my food was ready. Next it was meant to be a quick pop into Coles, which was a nightmare of an affair. I swear I must have been in the bush too long, the crowds were insane.

Are you sure this is what we are suppose to be doing? |
We rushed back for the second race of the V8’s; Shane was excited as the Kelly boys were poll and 2nd on the starting grid. It was a great afternoon watching the T.V. while the kids played happily together. I cooked the kid’s pizza for dinner and the boys got a yummy Satay!
After dinner we played a couple of rounds of ‘Jenga’; the kids had a ball. It was so funny watching the looks on their faces as they tried to pull out the pieces without knocking the tower down. I had to take a few photos as they were priceless.
